Product / TapInn

TapInn brings check-ins, checklists, and deviations into one field workflow.

TapInn is Aprex's solution for businesses with employees across multiple locations. The product helps teams with geofenced check-ins, checklists, HSE/HMS routines, deviation reporting, and documentation while the work is being done.

The problem TapInn solves

Many field teams still use paper, spreadsheets, messages, or multiple separate systems for attendance, time logs, checklists, and deviations. That creates duplicate work, weak traceability, and little overview when management needs to document what was actually done at each location.

Workflow from mobile to follow-up

An employee checks in at the right location, completes checklists, adds images or notes, and reports deviations directly from mobile. Managers get a structured view of attendance, completed tasks, open deviations, and documentation for customer reporting or internal control.

Control without more administration

The goal is not more employee monitoring than necessary, but less manual reporting and clearer responsibility. Geofencing and timestamps should be used with clear routines, data minimization, and good user information.

Built for integration

TapInn can be a standalone tool or part of a broader workflow with payroll, CRM, task tools, reporting, or customer dashboards. Before production use, data sources, permissions, exports, and integration points should be clarified.

Core areas

TapInn should be described through concrete workflows, not broad product promises. These are the main modules to clarify in a pilot.

Geofenced check-ins

Employees can check in and out at the right location, with timestamps and a clearer basis for attendance and hours.

Checklists

Tasks can be standardized per customer, building, zone, or work order so quality becomes more repeatable.

HSE/HMS and deviations

Deviations can be registered with text, image, category, owner, and status so follow-up does not disappear in messages.

Documentation

Completed work can be collected as report material for customers, internal control, managers, or audits.

Integrations

Data can connect to payroll, CRM, reporting, or other systems when APIs and permissions allow it.

Pilot

The first version should be tested on a scoped team, selected locations, and clear measurement points.

TapInn FAQ

Who is TapInn for?

TapInn fits businesses with field employees, multiple locations, and a need for documented attendance, checklists, HSE/HMS, or deviation handling.

Is geofencing the same as continuous tracking?

No. Geofencing can be used for check-in and check-out around defined locations. Use should be clearly explained, limited to purpose, and handled according to applicable privacy rules.

Can TapInn be used in cleaning?

Yes. Cleaning is a natural use case because locations, checklists, deviations, images, and customer reporting are often central parts of the workflow.

Can TapInn integrate with other systems?

Yes, when systems have APIs, exports, webhooks, or other safe integration points. Integrations should be clarified during the pilot phase.

Privacy and clear boundaries

TapInn should be introduced with clear routines for what is logged, why it is logged, who has access, and how long data is stored. Location data in particular requires clear information, data minimization, and purpose control.
