The formula is: hours per year = number of people × (minutes per occurrence / 60) × occurrences per period × periods per year. For weekly repetition, periods per year equals the work weeks per year you enter; for monthly repetition it is 12. Value per year is hours per year × hourly cost, shown only when you enter an hourly cost. Empty fields count as zero, invalid characters are ignored, and negative numbers become zero. Norwegian number formats are understood: spaces as thousand separators and comma as the decimal mark.
Illustration with fictional figures: 5 people spend 20 minutes per occurrence, 3 times a week, across 45 work weeks. That gives 5 × (20 / 60) × 3 × 45 = 225 hours per year. At an hourly cost of 600 NOK the value is 225 × 600 = 135,000 NOK per year. The example only shows the arithmetic; your figures give your answer. It is not an estimate of what Aprex charges or what automation will save.

The scope check asks six questions: systems to connect, data quality, user groups, sensitive data and privacy, traceability requirements, and existing APIs. Each answer scores 0 points for small, 1 for medium, and 2 for large. The total is always between 0 and 12: 0-3 means small scope, 4-7 medium scope, and 8-12 large scope. Unanswered questions count as 0, so a half-finished check never reads larger than it is. The bands only describe how much must be clarified before building, never time or price.
Whatever the scope, Aprex needs the same to give a concrete assessment: a short description of the workflow and who uses it, which systems and data sources are involved, and what should differ afterwards with a goal to measure against.
